Opie & Bronty: A Love Story

Opie, the resident feline in these parts, has found a new life partner in his 18th year of living that happens to be the brontosaurus I've had since childhood, Bronty. Opie enjoys bronty kisses (Bronty growls and rubs against his face), licking Bronty's plastic head, wrapping his front paws around Bronty's looping neck, and general dinosaur related cuddling.
Sometimes at night, if you hear a thwapping in the hallway, they are wrestling.

And so they are in love. Who are we to judge? Who among us would turn down the staunch love of a dinosaur?

We're thinking off adding to the family at Christmas. Triceratops?

Organism reproduction is strange and unusual to me.

But let them make more of each other. Good times for all.

I'm so glad that Opie has a new friend in Brontie. Though he may not be as cuddly and cute as Rocket was (due to his entire body being encased in plastic), he seems to make a good buddy.
