Blogagaard Returns
And so I have returned, forever changed by the hedonistic pleasures of a camping/rock concert weekend. We drove 1,400 miles? Visited Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Iowa. And lo, Blogagaard is back in his new apartment. I'd like to send a shout out to Meagan and Jay for inviting me along for this eye-opening sociological venture.
And what of the event itself? The beer can carnage? Well, it was like a cross between Apocalypse Now (post-concert) and "Saved By the Bell" summer school episodes (pre-concert). I saw a vast army of tiki torches. Was asked if I wanted to do a line (of cocaine) at 9 in the morning. Drunken 17 year olds dancing in unison like an amped up cheer squad. Danced to a 15 minute electric violin solo.
This must be how Willie Nelson feels every morning.

Righteous, man. Totally righteous.
Sunburn?
Dude, Michele, 4 shur.
I wore SPF 30 and wore dark sunglasses and sometimes my Twins hat but I still got a good, non-burned tan. Sedaris is, of course, jealous.
Welcome back! We missed you.
thank you, Becca. I missed blogging and sleeping and that way David Sedaris smiles when I say, "Katie Couric".
Howdy, Bloggy! Sounds like you had a rockin' good time. Glad to have you back in town.
I'm glad you had fun! Did you wind up taking Jay or Meagan's car? Did the grill fit?
Hi Lex Ham Rand! Good to be back. I need a vacation from my vacation.
Hi Shorty, we took the car alright and bought a cheap grill on the way. It's truly amazing how much crap you can fit into a car if you're really motivated.
