Blogagaard's Horrible Secret is Revealed

Many of you have wondered exactly who I am seeing in concert this weekend, twice actually, while camping within a walking distance from each show. I am going to Indiana with friends to see...the Dave Mathews Band!

Ha ha. I bet nobody saw this coming (except for those who already knew). I won't be posting again until Monday, but David Sedaris will be watching over the blog and laughing at all and any comments, because the dude's a freakin' hyena sometimes.

Now, I bid you adieu, dear sparrows. Keep on rocking!

Have fun! Tell J & the Mrs. that I hope they have a swell time, too, and I hope the stink came out of the Jeep.

Party hearty, Bloggy-boy. Sedaris can come over and sleep in my hammock while you are gone.

Dear Blogagaard,

I worry about your choice of bands to be fanatical about. I have noticed, on occasion, the wafting scent of patchouli in your presence, but opted against making judgements. So help me God, though, if you come back from Indiana with anything resembling a fringed leather vest or Birkenstocks, I'll have no choice but to force feed you everything from Jesus Lizard to Leonard Cohen.

Lovingly, of course.

NO!

I will be taking down my Blogagaard alter this afternoon. I am very, very sad right now. Not even Sedaris can cure my ill.

People, people. Please remain calm. I am not a big DMB fan, per se, but was more interested by the rock-n-roll lifestyle of this event. I have never done a concert and camp before. Plus, I have never really been to indiana before. pLus again, maybe I'll get laid. Ha ha ha. Shut up, Sedaris, I know you're laughing loudly.

Ps. I type this from the shores of Lake Michigan. It is beautiful here. Just like all the readers of this blog.

I'll be the first one to say that Ants Marching is a lovely head bopping car dance tune.

Hope you've loved every second of your camp out, Bloppie.

I think it sounds like an awesome time. And for all the crap folks give DMB, they are some darn fine musicians, even if their music can blend into one long Muzak-y soundtrack after a while.

Drink a cold one for me, Bloppie, and wave that lighter high.
