People Love Free Stuff

It's a little known secret (Tracy Jordan said as much on 30 Rock) that people love free stuff, and indeed that love has helped Oprah build the media empire that now surrounds her like diamond studded mountains. Knowing this, I recently put my old CPU outside, minus its hard drive and one disc drive, by the apartment dumpster. I kept watch on it, in a bored summertime way, and lo, this afternoon I found it gone in less than 48 hours!

People love free stuff! You can put out almost anything by our building's dumpster and it will soon disappear, like magic. It's truly amazing.
