Trade Paperback Writer

I found out yesterday The Suicide Collectors will be released in trade paperback (SWEET!) in December, and now my second novel Wormwood, Nevada will also be released in December, in hardcover. This is an excellent deal, since the days of hardcovers being automatically released in paperback as well are long gone, with publishers cutting costs and such. Now editors have to basically fight for their books to be released in paperback, and I was lucky enough to have an editor willing to go to bat for The Suicide Collectors despite the all-around bleak sales numbers in the current publishing world.
