Darkness at the Break of Dawn

Indeed, we found my Honda Accord, in our very own neighborhood, unlocked, with my stuff thrown everywhere, and the dome light left on. We were able to start it with a flat head screwdriver (classy!) and jumper cables. This was on Saturday, and the car is now safely tucked away at the car hospital downtown. Meanwhile, I'm driving a 2008 Chrysler Sebring, made famous of course by Michael Scott. Mine isn't a convertible like his, but it's close enough. I feel like a king, cruising his own calm kingdom.

Did you know they've invented these beeping things that unlock and lock your car from a distance? Amazing! And now CD players, that's right, CD PLAYERS are installed in cars, thereby rendering my 40 plus collection of 80's rock tapes useless! It's like I'm driving THE FUTURE.
