Well, that was anti-climatic. I drove about five minutes away to a Lutheran church, registered, and voted with all the other old people and unemployed gadabouts who vote in the middle of the morning. The whole thing took about twenty minutes. I mean, the cat hasn't even changed his sleeping position on the bed. He better vote, goddamn it. He's 19, he's old enough to vote. I just can't figure out where cats GO to vote.
And no, Opie. Puking on my office floor last night does NOT count as voting.
Why is the I VOTED sticker always red? That can't be good....

You know, this is the first time I can remember I've actually been excited about an election, not just dutiful in a let's-try-to-delay-the-apocalypse sort of way. Even if my candidate doesn't win, I feel good about America and voting and everything for the first time in years. At least people still care.
my sticker was blue..
oh.
never mind.
Mine was definitely red. Bring on the righteous indignation, I say.
