The New Project

Well, today I reached the halfway point in the rough draft of a new novel. I usually try to say as little as possible about the project I'm working on, especially in the incubation stage, because I don't think I've ever written anything in which I stated the story idea out loud and it didn't sound kind of stupid, especially to myself. An entire novel takes some effort to talk yourself into, knowing full well by the time you're done the project will be rewritten a dozen times and be much changed. Anyhow, I can tell you the book's working title is The Waking Man and it's about a university shooting (sort of). That's probably all I should say about it on the off-chance I read this post again and decide to chuck the whole thing.

In other news, the Twins rule. Whoop!
