Okay. Never, ever travel with a cat 1,500 miles in two days. Sarah's cat Opie went maniac frightened cat on us and let's just say, before taking a cat 1,500 miles across country with you other options should be considered, like poking your eyes out with a branding iron.
Anyhow. We got in around 3 A.M. last night and moved in under the cloak of darkness. The trip, other than the krazed kitty, was beautiful and good. What a freaking scenic drive, just overwhelming. 360 degrees of beauty. And the house we're renting is beautiful, too, with a big backyard and tommorow we're going to grill burgers and set up the hammock and I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July, too.
Now, to go close out the first day of the rest of my Boise...

So good to hear you landed safely!
And those Egyptian hookers sound great!
Oh I am so excited! Oh Opie! Our cat can hardly make it across town in the car withhout blowing out her vocal chords. I cannot imagine your trip.... I would have the vet perscribe kitty valium.
I am so stoked for you two!!
Wheee!
PS: I would like to see a pic of the hammock!
Sure thing, Missy. First we need some rope to tie it to the trees....
Sounds beautiful, Bloppie.
Kittie drugs, David, kittie drugs.
Is it like Twin Peaks out there, Dave? Does everyone eat pie and drink coffee?
As long as we're on the subject, do you think Twin Peaks was a double entendre?
I suspect it was.
Probably, Dan. Everything is.
Well, I had a coffee and a cream filled donut today at this place called DK Donut, right down the street from our house, located on State St. The donut was fantastic, but as of yet no suspense or murder.
Thanks for the update -- keep us posted!
