Ah, here we go! Spring is almost here at Blogagaard, Inc. and the chickens are hatching! Or something to that effect!
Well peeps, we have so many pans in the fire. Work pans, creative pans, fun pans. Pan pans. I feel motivated. I feel lively. I feel... sort of sleepy. I've recently finished reading When Charlotte Comes Home, a wonderful beautiful sad book by Hamline alum Maureen Millea Smith that's recently been nominated for this years MN Book Award for Fiction (Maureen and I also share the same agent, Mr. Jonathan Lyons) . Now I'm starting Maps of the Imagination: The Writer as Cartographer by Peter Turchi and so far have found it very interesting, as it seems to be one extended metaphor of writer as mapmaker with a pot luck of interesting asides thrown in. Also, tonight I came across a cool blog full of cool little reflections on writing and such.
That's it for now. Go hug something!
