Polar Clouds of Frozen Trouble, On Their Way!

Last night on the news this weatherman on the TV told me there's cold artic air coming down from the North Pole this weekend. Could be -20, -30 Degrees around these parts! Yeeha! In extreme northern MN it might get down to -50, -60 degrees! Sweet sassy molassy! Gather in the chickens, put the cows in the barn, and start swaddling your homes in thick shag carpeting! And remember, it may seem cool to burn money, but it's a quick burning, low intensity heat and a poor substitute for old oak furniture your parents gave you because they didn't want it anymore.

Bundle up, baby!

no one cares, huh? well, don't come crying to me when you end up hiding in your freezer just to stay warm!

No, I do care, I do care. I read this moments before I started hearing the rumor around here.

I have my mukluks ready. We Minnesotans hate a winter without a really serious cold, especially if we can't brag about all the snow we are dealing with.

I have my long underwear on today and 2 pairs of mittens. I am all set!

I agree with Michelle. I need more of snow and cold to validate me and my Minnesota heart!

Meanwhile: LOL to the hiding in my freezer line. Great idea!

Yay! That's it, I give up. Time to hibernate.

My Minnesotan father-in-law (Michelle's dad) will probably even button his coat when he goes outside for a few days.
