i like that one too. But is there something terribly wrong, and unacknowledged with the dog in the third frame?

this is a Pearls Before Swine crossover comic, so that's some goat character Satchel the dog's been imposed on. Wierd, yet funny.

A crossover comic? It looks like someone just cut and pasted the 'Get Fuzzy' characters onto the strip.

Oh well, I find this strip hilarious. People should realise how stupid they are yapping into their cells at completely innapropriate times and places. David knows my rules for my cell phone.

Dave,

My blog is an isolated outpost just now. How do I link up with my fellow Hamlinees (pronounced Ham-leen-ays)? Is there a trick?

I'm a techno buffoon.

It's SUPPOSED to look like it's pasted on, that's part of the frigging joke. Check out Monday's strip for how this week's premise started:

Thanks, Dave!

Mark is right. I failed to mention that. My bad. If you go to www.comics.com you can read this week's Pearls Before Swine, which has the original comics before Darby pasted Satchel and Bucky into them. I like Pearls Before Swine almost as much as Get Fuzzy. They are the only two comics I read anymore ona regular basis. Any more good comics out there I should know about, people?

You know, I'll put myself out there on this, but Bill Watterson never pulled this type of stunt in Calvin and Hobbes. Yes it's very clever, yes it's quite funny to share strips. But is it just me, or has there been a shift in cartoons where the cartoonist are putting themselves into their own strips more and more?

Yeah, comics are getting all Meta and shit. What's up with that? I read the funnies to escape real people...

Although, I no longer find Calvin and Hobbes as cool as I used to. Maybe I just overdosed...
